VLC Autoplay Configuration for Windows XP

This form will generate a customised Registry file that will set up VLC as a DVD and CD audio content handler for Windows XP. This will add VLC to the list of applications used to play DVDs or Audio CDs that you are presented with when you insert a disc of this type. Full Path to VLC:
(e.g. C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\vlc.exe - don't use "double quotes")

Depending on your browser, you may be automatically asked to save the registry file to disk, or it may simply display the text of the file in your browser. If it displays as text, simply save it to disk with a .reg extension

Launch the file to add the settings to the Registry.
