Here you will find a few programs that I have written and am making available for download here. All the programs here are freeware. Do what you like with them. Give them to your friends, your relatives, even your dog, if you've taught it how to use a PC. Just read the not-so-small print down at the bottom of this page please.
A program for displaying JPEG files as a slideshow. Nothing special, you may think, apart from the small fact that it has special features for multi-monitor systems...
A program for reconfiguring the “ThinkPad” button on IBM T-Series and R-Series ThinkPad computers.
Set up VLC as a DVD and CD audio content handler for Windows XP.
The programs here are provided without any warranty whatsoever. They will probably do what I've said they'll do, but I'm not making any promises. They might work, they might not. They might crash for no apparent reason, but they work fine for me. They might even blow up your computer, although the chances of that are fairly slim.
In any case, what you do or have already done with your computer, smouldering wreck or not, is your concern. I take no responsibility for any loss, of any kind, that you incur by downloading and/or running any of these programs on any computer.
It should also be noted that these programs are provided pretty much without support. I wish I had the time to devote to supporting them but unfortunately that's not the case. If you think there is a genuine bug in one of my programs, please email me; I will try to help but although I do read all such email, I cannot guarantee a response.
These programs may all be distributed freely, but if you do distribute them, no charge may be made for them. If you wish to include any of them on the cover-disc of a magazine, feel free, but please contact me in advance to let me know - a free copy of the magazine wouldn't hurt either :-)
Before I post anything on this website I scan the file with a virus scanner, so everything will be clean to the best of my knowledge at the time of posting. Still, I make no promises. As with all software downloaded from the internet, you should scan the file with your own virus-scanner before running it. And if you still don't think the program is safe; well, no-one's forcing you to use it, are they?
My programs are free for commercial use, and may be used as part of an overall software/hardware system that is not free. Just make sure that any fee you charge is the fee for YOUR bit of the system. My bit must come free.
That said, enjoy.
