After I finally graduated from Reading University with a 2.1 BSc in Applied Computer Science, it was time for Elizabeth and I to move out of scummy student housing forever, and into somewhere that didn't need months of redecorating just to make it habitable. We settled into a place just around the corner from the hospital in Reading that people are now forever walking past when trying to find our flat because they simply don't believe we can afford it! Bounders Hall comprises 8 flats; we live in one towards the back of the house. |

As usual, moving house was a tortuous affair, and left our flat swamped with piles of our stuff, piles that didn't completely disappear for over a week since we were both working full-time. |

Two weeks later, we were completely unpacked and settled in. Here the lounge/diner is looking a little tidier. |
|
The kitchen is fairly small but opens out onto the lounge, so isn't cramped, and the back door opens out onto a small walled courtyard which is private to our flat. |

Although you can't see it here, the bedroom has 12" high ceilings, and is unfortunately home to the computer because it wouldn't fit anywhere else. |

The en-suite toilet has a blissfully powerful shower cubicle and an extractor fan. There was much rejoicing. With any luck this will be the last move we make for a while; when filling in a form recently I realised that this is the 9th place I have lived in only 5 years! Time to settle down for a bit... |
