		<description>&lt;p&gt;Initially it will mean starting to get more involved in the more strategic parts of the job; budgeting, long-term projects, etc., and further training in supporting parts of the systems at work I haven&#039;t touched yet (mainly the core networking). The idea is to free up some of the Network Manager&#039;s time for things like internal software development, for which there is a large list of things to do and not enough time to do them at present.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Line manager responsibilities for the other IT Technicians will also be devolved to me, so now I actually have to learn how to wade through the onerous and largely pointless review process we have at work.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
